I love gardening and helping others to enjoy theirs ! I have in the past written articles for magazines and featured on tv and radio. Happy times were spent writing a popular gardening column and features pages for the Teesdale Mercury, Barnard Castle, Co. Durham and as a regular gardening writer for Durham Town and Country magazine.
I like to design for the smaller town or country garden, and favour low-maintenance gardens, but not dismissing other styles, and happy to work in a traditional or modern style, or a combination of both.
Over the years I have encompassed many skills in the field of education, natural health, garden design/writing, but took a few years out of professional gardening due to health reasons. Those years were taken up with a new business The Tiny Cake Co but after missing gardening and my beloved outdoors I am back in my wellies !!
My love of gardening developed at the early age of five years old, and where ever I have lived, I have continued my life long hobby. I am currently transforming a piece of land in Brittany where I hope to retire !
